This is due to the changeHatValve passing "" (the path returned from getServletPath) across the JNI interface to the wrapper code that calls the changeHat function. For instance. I first created a profile for the httpd2-prefork program , 1) start the wizard 2) fill in the path and press start 3) perform all the actions and events with the specified program 4) Scan system log for events 5) Rate all the events that were registered 6) Finish (Apparmor is now in enforcing mode) I close my Yast2 , re-open it and go back to the Apparmor 'Add profile wizard' Now i'm going to profile an other application. 1) Fill in the path (/usr/sbin/foo) and press start 2) perform all the actions and events with the foo program 3) Scan system log for events and when scanning the system log for events I still notice some events that were generated by my first application (httpd2-prefork) which have nothing to do with my second application. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

When I installed openSUSE 10.3, everything worked fine at first. I could set a resolution of 1440x900 and I was happy. But I once started my computer only to get a lower resolution (1368x768) and now I can not set 1440x900 anymore (I can set it, but my Xorg still starts with 1368x768 resolution). I thought it might be because of an update. So I installed a fresh openSUSE 10.3 from a KDE Install CD. But I still have the same problem. So I tried the Ubuntu LiveCD. And I was stunned, because it started with a 1440x900 resolution. So I saved their /etc/X11/xorg.conf and copied it into the installed openSUSE, but nothing changed. My original SaX2-generated xorg.conf and Ubuntu xorg.conf are attached. xdpyinfo from Ubuntu and openSUSE are attached too. This worked very well and is running fine. But when i tried to use it on another machine, it did only boot up in text mode. I found out that i could force the creation of a new xorg.conf by simply removing the old one and rebooting. It would be a nice feature, however, if i had a third boot option (besides "10.3 [USB]" and "10.3 Failsafe [USB]" named "10.3 reconfigure [USB]" which would then trigger a new hardware detection like on the first boot. For the xorg.conf part, i edited /etc/init.d/create_xconf to look like this: -------- case "$1" in start) echo -n "Creating X Config" # create config file if not yet done if [ "$RECONFIGURE" = yes -o "$RECONFIGURE" = 1 ]; then rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf fi if [ ! -f /etc/X11/xorg.conf ];then test -e /proc/splash && echo verbose > /proc/splash /usr/sbin/sax2 -c 0 -a -i &>/dev/null test -e /proc/splash && echo silent > /proc/splash fi rc_status -v ;; stop) ;; ------- so now i can start with "RECONFIGURE=yes" (which ideally would be added to an extra entry in menu.lst) and it will reconfigure the X server.
