While using Evolution, it prompts for the IMAP password (with "Save Password"
checked). It then opens up the GNOME keyring every time since there is no
default keyring, even though one was supposedly created last time using
Evolution.
Expected Result:
Default Keyring is created, and is used every time.

As $SUMMARY says, on my wife's desktop machine, nm-applet fails to store the
passphrase for the WPA connection in gnome-keyring.
The following output comes from nm-applet at the time:
** (nm-applet:4428): CRITICAL **: nm_gconf_wso_set_key: assertion `key !
= NULL' failed
** (nm-applet:4428): WARNING **: <WARN> nmi_save_network_info(): Error

On my machine, running Factory, it works fine.

Before the first install screen appears, I get the message "Could not find the
openSUSE Repository. Activating manual setup program." I don't think it's the
DVD because I used the same DVD to do an install on a desktop machine and can
also read it fine from a copy of openSUSE 10.2 on a different partition on this
laptop.
I tried to get the YaST logs, but by the time he's dropped back to the text
screen, /var/log/YaST2 is empty.

It is missing:
initrd-2.6.18.8-0.3-default.old
and
config-2.6.18.8-0.3-default.old.
Further patch postinstall script removed all default entries from
/lib/modules/2.6.18.8-0.3-default/
except entries in extra subdirectory, 2 scsi and 2 sound that doesn't belong to
default kernel in kernel subdirectory. Even if entries in menu.lst would be
correct system still would not boot without modules for 2.6.18.8-0.3-default.
It is good that extra modules are not removed as well, although they are
useless in wrong directory and before recompilation with new kernel, but at
least they are here as reminder.
This makes "openSUSE 10.2" boot option useless and bad is that it is set to be
default.
New entry "openSUSE 10.2 - 2.6.18.8-0.5" boots fine, even Linuxant modem driver
is recompiled on boot.

I reopen this bug, because I think, that the bug still exists in openSUSE 10.3
(current factory).

I still have this problem in openSUSE 10.3 Beta 2 (current factory installation
source from FTP mirrors). After solving many dependency problems during an
update from openSUSE 10.2 the empty dependency dialog remains on screen. See
attached screenshot.
