I decided to reinstall openSUSE without using software RAID and installation finished successfully. Afterwards, I tried to reproduce the problem on VMMachine (I needed my computer working so I didn't want to experiment directly on it). Exactly the same problem occurred and I saved logs and made a screenshot this time (attached). I quickly tried this on another machine (I can't give you details about it's hardware, though) and ran into the same problem so I guess it's very easily reproducible. The original description talks about going to Settings, while the screenshot in comment #12 has clearly nothing to do with that. So the second issue should be a separate bugreport. And I can confirm that it appears that our i18n packages use 3.5 branch translations while kdepim3 itself is the enterprise branch - e.g. if you look at plugins/korganizer/todosummarywidget.cpp:63 , in 3.5 branch the message is "To-dos", while in enterprise it's "To-do List".
