KControl > Behavior > "Mouse Button Actions"... I usually set middle button for "Application menu"... I believe that this option should pull up the old Kmenu preferably, and give users that enjoy that feature the choice of using either, it's just a simpler interface... then we can use Kickoff when we browse down to the Panel... Either way, Kickoff should not open above it's location in the panel when I middle click at the opposite side of the screen, it is very inconvenient! We should set fs.inotify.max_user_watches in /etc/sysctl.conf to a pretty high value like 65536 -- the default is 8192 -- to help alleviate this problem for many users. This happens when you move from a "normal" <a href=...> link to a JavaScript onClick link or a form label. Pressed OK (to open the NFS folder) and it says "Permissions denied". Browsing media:/ the NFS media icon appears as not mounted so cannot access media:/nfs, but browsing directly into /media/Downloads works - NFS media is mounted. The XML file has been generated using yast2 autoyast on a SuSE 10.1 OS.
