How to reproduce : 1) In /etc/nsswitch.conf * change the first lines like this : |passwd: compat ldap |shadow: compat ldap |group: compat ldap 2) Install nss_ldap-253-14 x86-64 module from YaST 3) do not change the defaults ldap files 4) restart Extract of /var/log/boot.msg (at run level 5): |... | Starting HAL demon done | Loading CPUFreq modules done | dbus-demon: ldap-nss.c:1315: do_init: Assertion 'cfg->ldc_uris[__sessions.ls_current_uri] != ((void*)0)' failed. |... Note 1: This error may be due to the fact than i have not finish yet my ldapd configuration. But this could be a good thing thant the fail of the nss_ldap module do block the whole d-bus demon. Imho no apparent since all configuration for the original Privoxy releases are stored under /etc/privoxy/. To me it is very confusing SUSE changed the location to /var/lib/privoxy. This with a T1 bandwidth on my end. Trying the mini.iso CD and trying across the Internet --- I don't have enough information on the IP address required and the home directory. Does this require the *.torrent distribution also? Web page does not give enough information IMHO.
