Yeah, I want to have brltty too.
Please read my last mail on this thread.
I want to have suse as accessible as debian or fedora, when you can use brltty at boot time with any display you like, and you can choose whether you want to install from the live cd or to have a text install. I don't like that you need a serial display in order to install suse from the normal cd or dvd, there are almost no motherbords with serial ports left, and the new braille displays are usb displays.
Sbl support usb display as well (read my last mail).
Also, suse blinux is built on brltty, so I don't understand why it doesn't become updated.
Have you added a feature request to support your brailledisplay? Sbl supports usb display as well (read my last mail). If your display is not supported please add a feature request for this. Use novell's or opensuse bugzilla. Regards Halim -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: blinux+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: blinux+help@opensuse.org
