-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi. Ok, I'll try this again ... but it didn't seem to show a menu like the one you describe. Just seemed to be a flashing cursor. I'll give it another go now. Thanks. At 17:11 23/04/2005 +0200, Alain Vitry said: I'm not using any blind interface, but I may try to describe what shows at startup with grub. Grub is the boot menu from the cd, which shows on a first line: boot from harddisk. On the next line it shows: installation. On the next: installation - safe mode. On the next: memory test. There's another line, but I can't recall right now. I don't think grub is braille aware, so you can't read anything yet. If you just go down (arrow down) once, you should be on the installation line. Just press enter, and this will load the installer. When yast (Suse installer) loads, it also detects braille terminals, so you should read something within 1 min or 2. The rest of the installation must be usable on your terminal, although I have no experience of that yet. I hope this helps. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 8.1 Comment: A Member Of The TFT BBS Digital Security Initiative iQA/AwUBQmqY+j1/+g3FKWpGEQKl6wCghIkNMSB+b/8V9loefEUaWDotFKgAoKkm FJQO4wt4E3bkcLOF/AYpy3Rk =suMf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MSN Messenger & mailto:gordon@tft-bbs.co.uk http://www.tft-bbs.com ftp.tft-bbs.com U.S. Voice: +1-212-202 2344 UK Voice: 0800 845 6167 (GSM) / (SMS): +44 7932 634 539
