I did a couple of test installations with SuSE 8.0 and the new autoinstall - works fine so far. But I'd like to have some more possibilities to change settings
Are there plans to implement new YaST2 modules for autoinst configuration?
Yes, as a matter of fact almost all configuration modules will be supported in the next release. The idea is to make configuration modules plug into the configuration system, so that if a module has a built in support for automatic installation it will automatically be available for the user. Other than the standard modules, more configuration options will be available for those resources which have no configuration modules, such as user defined packages, sysconfig variables etc.
I currently work with kxmledit, but in some cases it's hard to see where you're going ...
