What version are you using? in 2.5.27rc1 (and maybe other update packages) a bug was 'introduced'.
I was running 2.5.26.
In ftp.suse.com/pub/people/nashif/autoyast2/RPMS there is 2.5.27rc2 with a fix for this issue in addition to other issues that were mentioned on the list.
Hope that helps,
The only way I can get things to work is stay with the original version that comes with SuSE 8.0. All update packages seem to be broken. I've tested 2.5.26 and 2.5.27rc2 as you suggested. None worked - I always get some message complaining about an invalid partition table. (Same setup works with original version).
What features do I loose if I stick with the old version? What were the changes introduced since the first release (besides support for more than 4 partitions)?
2.5.27rc3 is on the ftp server and it solves these problems.
