Hello Damien Thank you very much for your help. I'll try it right the way. Just two more questions. 1. How did you create your xml file? Unfortunately it's not possible over autoyast2 to create an xml file with lvm support. I first installed a machine and just cloned it to get a xml file. I'm using autoyast2 2.6.36-0 2. How do I install grub instead of lilo? Under autoyast2, in my oppinion I only can configure lilo. What do I have to enter in the xml file so that grub will be installed right the way? 3. Does anybody have an example of a script. I would like to create an own installation CD where the user can enter ip-address, networkmask.....and the system will be installed according to these entries. Thank you very much for your help. regards Manuel ----------------------------------------------------------- Telekurs Services Hardturmstrasse 201, 8005 Zürich Phone : +41 1 279 44 24 Fax : +41 1 279 34 44 mailto : manuel.laesser@telekurs.com -----------------------------------------------------------
