Hi,
We have setup a local update server and are trying to figure out how to add
our own patches to the patch server. I was looking through the autoinstall
docs and can´t find anything to do with the Online Updates.
I can find in the Updates that there are some of the .info file
and a patch file, but nothing specific as per explanation or quick way for us
to add packages/patches to the server.
Also we are still trying to configure the server so that it rsync´s with one
of the other official online update servers out there like the cs.utah one,
but it seems that none of them have the capability to talk to rsync (aka are
not running a rsync server deamon). Anyone out there know one that works
against a online update server supporting the SuSE 9.2 Professional build.
Also what commands are you using to rsync with it. We would like to set it up
as a cron job to check daily.
If anyone has any info, it would be greatly appreciated
