Hi again!
I'd like to get some further information on the <use> and <reuse> statements (partitioning/drive).
According to the documentation it is possible to (re)use certain partitions for installation. But there's no example of how to do it.
I tried several forms but none worked (This should reuse partitions 2 and 3)
<reuse>2 3</reuse>
Try <use> instead of <reuse>. I have just noticed there is an error in the documentation.
I tried both - none worked. How should autoyast behave if one of this partitions is missing? Which is the correct syntax - separated by spaces, commas? I had a look at the sources but I'm not familiar with the language used in the .ycp files.
the format of <use> is the following <use>all</use> : This will delete everything on the drive <use>free</use> : This will use space availabe and leaves everything else as is <use>6,7</use> : Partitions 6 and 7 will be deleted and new partitioning plan will replace them What version are you using? in 2.5.27rc1 (and maybe other update packages) a bug was 'introduced'. In ftp.suse.com/pub/people/nashif/autoyast2/RPMS there is 2.5.27rc2 with a fix for this issue in addition to other issues that were mentioned on the list. Hope that helps, Anas
