[opensuse-artwork] Installer theme
Hi all, I have begun work on a new installer theme. It is based on the code we are using in SLES 12. I tried to make a light coloured theme which fits well with some of the new colours. I've attached a screenshot for those who don't know how to test it. https://github.com/kwwii/branding/tree/13.2/yast/ Note that this is a work in progress - that means it is not done yet :-) -- Kenneth Wimer SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany
Looks really good to me. Nice to see the lighter color scheme and I am excited for the upcoming releases of both SUSE and openSUSE. Sincerely, Bob Martens http://bobmartens.net @boblmartens

I like it! It wasn't what I expected when I thought "something inspired by the new marketing materials", but I certainly like it. Looking forward to playing with it - Richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

Lol, sorry for the extra files...I just copied everything from the SLES stuff. I was planning on sorting things out later - it was more important to me that I deliver all the svg sources with the png files but I was too lazy to think about the other things in that dir :P The top gradient with the logo is just a place holder for now. Ideally we would have some nifty graphic which looked awesome but I haven't had time for that so far :D I'll work on it some more tomorrow. -- Kenneth Wimer SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

looks nice, not quite sold on the olive green at the top right though, i know its a very openSUSE color and probably in our palette but i think it would blend / feel a bit better if there was a tad more blue in it. Other then that it looks amazing. Cheers Simon Lees Simon -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

Start to become hard to only have screenshots, I'm looking forward the day when we will put all that good stuff in package. I've people asking in irc #kde if the suse.png in Yast theme could be changed to something new ? It's certain that suse.png living actually in /usr/share/YaST2/theme/openSUSE-Oxygen/icons/48x48/apps/suse.png Start to show it's age. What about having just the regular geeko-head with the simple border I guess we just need a black and a white one or green for getting new launcher (It's this image that use for example in the kickstarter in kde) and certainly in Gnome too. Since it's belong to the Yast theme, would you Kenneth take it in charge as the same time as the icon review ? -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Board GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot ~~~Don't take Life too serious.
