Heh, I didn't realize you could put an image on top of a code. Thought it had to be unfettered. I've been toying around with QR codes for openSUSE for a while now and while creating the code is obviously easy to do, determining what it should point to is another matter altogether. And it gets even harder when you don't know exactly where the code will be used and in what context. For example, we can have it link to opensuse.org as James suggests. But pointing to a single URL.. doesn't really gain much traction for the code work. Then we could have for example, have it produce a text file with a list of important pages or list of our social media accounts or etc. etc. The possibilities become endless. .And without the proper context of where the code would be used, it becomes more confusing. I suggest we not create a single QR code but rather customize them to apply to the relevant material.at hand. Whether it be in a brochure, on poster, or in a magazine, the content of the QR code matters more than having a standardized QR code. That's my opinion.
