I like it a lot; just one reservation about the colour of the QR code, as that color is not used anywhere else in the poster and it does make it seem a little bit dis-intergrated. Maybe you'd be happier with it in white perhaps, or openSUSE Green? Only a very small point though. I think there does need to be 'something' in that corner, otherwise there's too much empty space going on. Actually it might look better with the geeko on the left, looking into the space on the right, and the QR on the right side. Just an idea though, I'd cheerfully put it on my wall as is.
Fantastic concept, the rendering of the mobile is awesome.
cheers,
Thanks for the feedback, Helen, and I totally agree on the QR.
Here's another "draft" to chew on. This one I tried to focus on what I would want to put up, that would entice other people to check out openSUSE. And again, the package list is a large component, rendered in the QR (and yes its perfectly legible at print-quality).

I leave it up to the community to decide which way this ends up.
Absolutely awesome. Would you be willing to turn this into a PDF according to the requirements set by LinuxMagazin:
Specs for print artwork are: Size: 400 mm * 574 mm, plus 3mm additional bleed on each side, Hi-res PDF, 4-colour, CMYK.
And send it to me somehow? I haven't seen a response from Robert Lihm in a while but I'm assuming he has followed this discussion. I think this is pretty cool, haven't seen anything else so I guess this will be our poster :D
Cheers, Jos
Happy hacking!
Try to let more space aroung the qrcode on the poster, so peeps can catch the url in the same house :D James if you don't have a gitorious account, push the svg somewhere we will take care of it ... The cheat-sheet-code page have been reivsed and now if free of fault. I've not done so much about the colors and things, waiting the decision for the 12.1 artwork. Unfortunately without a real svg base, nothing will be easy.
