This one I tried to focus on what I would want to put up, that would entice other people to check out openSUSE. Now THAT is COOL. Love it to bits. What about using a small black&white geeko-head on bottom left, with your awesome 'have a lot of fun' script, so it's all just monochrome and quite simple. I think the abstract QR design is so striking, you almost don't want anything else, you know? It's got huge impact. I'd even consider not using the geeko at all, just 'openSUSE' with 'have a lot of fun', because the sript contrasts nicely with the hard edges. Absolutely awesome. Would you be willing to turn this into a PDF according to the requirements set by LinuxMagazin: Specs for print artwork are: Size: 400 mm * 574 mm, plus 3mm additional bleed on each side, Hi-res PDF, 4-colour, CMYK. And send it to me somehow? I haven't seen a response from Robert Lihm in a while but I'm assuming he has followed this discussion. I think this is pretty cool, haven't seen anything else so I guess this will be our poster :D Cheers, Jos

Have you read my last statement on this list? Please let us keep marketing material independent from distro artwork. The only things I agree, that may be branded in distro artwork are media covers and maybe the countdown. Besides that: We do not limit artists to a specific format. Of course pure SVGs are nice, but you cannot do everything with that. If bitmaps are used, they should be provided in appropriate size, and that have been done for the 12.1 distro branding.
