Hi all, After a couple of "zypper dup's ago, I noticed that direct after the default option in grub, the screen went black after the subsequent loading. Until last week, I could continue by selecting in grub an older kernel (6.0.3 afaicr) Now however, the default image, but 6.0.7-1 and 6.0.8-1 yield the same results: It boots and loads initrd, but screen turns black, and no desktop appears any more, even after waiting for hours. According to the leds of the rpi (and the heat-sink) it is up-and running. CTRL-ALT-F1...12 doesn't do anything, neither ctr-alt-backspace Any suggestions would be welcomed Met vriendelijke groet, Hans Witvliet, J, Ing., DMO/OPS/I&S/APH, Kennis Team Opensource Coldenhovelaan 1 Maasland 3531RC Coldehovelaan 1, kamer B213 Dit bericht kan informatie bevatten die niet voor u is bestemd. Hi, I can reproduce the behavior on my RPi4 locally. The system boots fine, except that the HDMI screen goes in sleep mode once vc4/drm driver is started. Could you create a bug report and Cc me please? The fix will be part of kernel 6.0.9, see: https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1205259#c9 Cheers, Guillaume
