Good afternoon,
I had a year-long lapsus on this topic. Given there are no device specific images in this case at http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/distribution/leap/15.2/appliances /, which image should I try?.
I would not recommend Leap 15.2 which is going EOL at the end of the month. You can try : * Leap 15.3: http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/distribution/leap/15.3/appliances... * Tumbleweed: https://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/tumbleweed/appliances/openSUSE-T...
This may work, if a UEFI firmware is flashed on the system.
Cheers, Guillaume
Good morning!
I will go with 15.3. Unluckily UEFI doesn't seem an option. From what I found, options are WLoader or "Open Firmware" (which is presented as "provides better Device Tree support than WLoader").
I understand JeOS is the lighter option, would it be OK to go with it and afterwards install any software needed (even going with KDE/GNome)?, my use case would be to run those little boxes as VMware Horizon clients or kiosks machines.

Oh, can I assume these images are "installed & ready to boot" images and not installers (meaning I need to find a way to get them to the internal storage of the board/appliance)? Regards, CI.-
