Hi,
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Factory:/ARM/images/
does anyone see a blocker issue with those images being released as Milestone 2?
I've tested the panda image and it seems to work. Any volunteer for the other images?
I tested BeagleBoard xM (kernel 3.6.0-20-omap2plus). At first boot, I get 28 times and then 25 times the following line ()number after udevd change each time): udevd[1264]: failed to execute '/usr/lib/udev/socket:/org/kernel/dm/multipath_event' 'socket:/org/kernel/dm/multipath_event': No such file or directory It does not seem to hurt but it is always bad to see failure messages. ;)
This one goes to Hannes :).
No yast2-firstboot launched.
Is the respective logic implemented in the config.sh script?
After a reboot, I am no more able to log in via serial port (only SSH is ok). It is a strange behavior: some keys pressed are not shown (received?), sometimes a return seems to be received by the board but a char key was pressed. If I copy/paste login/password, I am able to login and I get this message: stty: standard input: unable to perform all requested operations Once logged in, strange behavior of my keyboard (through serial) is still there.
This indicates that 2 gettys are connected to the same tty. Does gfx login work?
* Audio: Need to install alsa-utils (and deps) and add a config file. Need to modprobe manually snd-soc-omap3beagle
I thought you had a patch for this one? :)
* CPU: Bogomips are: - idle: 175.65 (was 262.08 for 12.2) - full: 467.41 (was 700.57 for 12.2)
We probably enable CPU throttling in Factory.
* DSP: Need to modprobe manually: modprobe mailbox_mach modprobe tidspbridge base_img=/lib/dsp/baseimage.dof
Any ideas how to work around this? Either by having the modules probe themselves or by adding a config.sh hack.
* Ethernet: ok
* SD/MMC: ok
* UART (debug): ok
* USB: ok
* Video: No omapdrm. (was disabled in kernel config some times ago and then re-enabled). See: http://kernel.opensuse.org/cgit/kernel-source/commit/config/armv7hl/omap2plu... http://kernel.opensuse.org/cgit/kernel-source/commit/config/armv7hl/omap2plu... Then, we can use omapfb dribver as a workaround: modprobe panel-tfp410 modprobe omapfb mode=dvi:1440x900MR-24@60
