or from Adaptec: Adaptec Serial ATA RAID 1210SA

I found some problems with long timeouts and IRQ timeouts under Linux with this one from Adaptec.

Any other suggestions?

The Promise controller on the Asus SK8N seems to work OK under Mandrake 9.2.
