I just installed a new install of 9.3 on a amd 64 machine and I can't get any sound.... 9.2 worked just fine. During kde startup I get a artsmessage of cpu overload
Try to set the sound level for system events to 100% You will find this in the control center, Sounds &.. , System No...
Button player settings
this made it work for me, but still the occasional overload
