I don't suceed with smbmount. What is you error message? The smbfs module seems not to be ok: With "dmesg | grep smb"
I get " smbfs: unsupported module, tainting kernel. "
This message is purely informational, not functional. It just means this module is not supported by SuSE. It is not a failure message.
I have the 2.6.11.4-21.7-smp kernel.
What can I do? You could try /etc/samba/smbfstab. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Registered Linux user 231871
