The config for the x86_64 default kernel on suse 10.0 lacks some entries, if i compare it to the i386 default kernel:
CONFIG_ATM=m CONFIG_PPPOATM=m
is there any (good) reason that atm and ppoatm are not supported in the x86_64 default kernel by suse?
AFAIR the code was not 64-bit clean when we did the port. It might be working by now but we haven't checked it - and have no way of checking. IF you need this, please test it and if it works, make a request via our bugzilla, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
