Hi, We just got in a dual Opteron server (from Verari Systems) with SuSE 9.2 pre-installed. On the same day, the SuSE 9.3 arrived, so I decided to upgrade before it goes into service. Booting from the DVD (connected via USB to the machine), it failed to recognize the SCSI RAID1 array that the OS (9.2) was installed on. I then booted normally and went into YaST, and changed the installation source to the 9.3 DVD, and did a system update. That seemed to run normally, and after reboot, the system comes up as SuSE 9.3. But, when I go to Online Update, it still thinks the product is 9.2 and looks for 9.2 updates. Question: Where is the product defined for YOU, and why does it not see that 9.3 is aleardy installed, and look for 9.3 updates? Thanks, John Craig __________________________________________________________________ Switch to Netscape Internet Service.
