We just put a news item in German www.suse.de announcing a full SuSE Linux 8.2 beta distribution available via one of our ftp mirrors or directly from ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/x86-64/8.2-beta/. I'll forward the english news item tomorrow. SuSE Linux 8.2 beta 9 for AMD64 is a complete distribution - of beta quality but working quite fine in most aspects. Known issues are: - The installer does not support Far East languages - Gnome is buggy. The problems with Gnome is that calling functions with variable argument is done in a broken way (putting an int on the stack will leave the upper 32-bit undefined and therefore you should not read an int back as a long - but this is what parts of Gnome). Note that KDE works fine.
