Hello! I just downloaded and compiled this kernel. Unfortunately, I still run Mandrake 9.2, but problems are not Mandrake specific. 1. I can't run Oracle 9.2.0.4 for AMD64 with SGA larger that 1.7Gb with 2.6 kernel: [oracle@dm oracle]$ sqlplus SQL*Plus: Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production on Mon Jun 7 15:26:40 2004 Copyright (c) 1982, 2002, Oracle Corporation. SQL> startup ORA-27123: unable to attach to shared memory segment This problem exists with Suse's 2.6.5 and with 2.6.3 from kernel.org. But I can successefully run Oracle with 2.5Gb SGA using 2.4 kernel from Mandrake distribution. Looks like this is generic 2.6 kernel problem 2. I had vmware 4.5.1 works with 2.6.3, but I can't compile modules for 2.6.5: Building the vmmon module.
