Also, does the amd64 2800+ support hypertransport? according to the suseplugger, hypertransport is listed as an unknown. I'd also like to take advantage of this too, if the 2800+ does it.
Hypertransport is the technology AMD64 processors use to communicate with
one another and with devices like south bridges etc. so every AMD64
processor supports and uses it. It's also nothing that can be fiddled with
in software.
