hello, System: Gigabyte ga-k8n ultra-9 AMD 4000+ 939 San Diego 2x512 Ocz PC3200 RAM (oc'd to 214 hz) hd: WD2500JD SATA 250 GB video: Asus GeForce 6800 Extreme pci-ex OS: SuSE 9.3 x86_64 with the latest patches (default kernel) I'm trying to install a perl module (Text::CHM) that needs the jedwin chmlib. I've tried several things, including an FC4 RPM (x86_64), that seemed to install OK, but the "make" failed to recognise the library. I'm puzzled that _kchm_ for x86_64 installs without using an external chmlib, but instead installs private "libchm" libraries for itself and KDE/Konqueror. They are installed in /opt/kde3/lib64/libchm* by _kchm_. The _xchm_ applet does use chmlib, but settles for i686 architecture. What should I do next? I tried to compile chmlib from the tar/source, but I think that all switches for x64 are off. regards, tlviewer __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
