: Folks,
As you know, GNOME 3 will be coming out *very* soon and soon after that, we will be providing GNOME3 with 11.4. We will even be shipping LiveCDs to GNOME Foundation with GNOME3 built in.
GNOME Foundation is doing a lot of work to organize the launch of GNOME3. But like any other project, there's never quite enough launch parties. We also have our own launch parties (yes some will continue on in the next months ahead even if March 10 was our launch date.)
Launch Parties?? Did someone just called me? ;-)
2 more to come for openSUSE 11.4 in the next 50 days but I could easily organize a 'Gnome Rock Party' here in Thesssaloniki. I though about get in contact with Gnome foundation about it but I thought it late since the expire date was 15 Feb 2011 as I saw in their page. Do you happen to know if we can still register? If we can I can and will organize at least one in the next month or so. In my region so far the Greek Gnome community has show no action so I believe I can do it without a problem, of course I will try to reach them if we finally can do a Gnome launch party...
