PhotoQT opens to black screen with a very generic looking panel icon, and no

Any suggestions?

e.g. Kuickshow (http://kuickshow.sourceforge.net/). That page shows

I run Kuickshow on 42.3, found an rpm somewhere, should be easy to find using google

It is the very best quick and simple image viewer, no other one comes even close in speed and simplicity of use. No menu-borders, no unneeded functions, but everything one needs (zoom, rotate, brightness, contrast).
