I run those commands and get the exact same output.
But there is a problem.
The FS my /var is on is actually Ext4
It seems that 'stat' doesn't know about ext4 or cannot differentiate.

It looks like you need to determine what device /var/lib/rpm is on then use
something like 'lsblk'

Doesn't matter, it is not btrfs.

Beyond that, it is for the devs at the other side of the Bugzilla to
find out ;-)

I have no idea why stat doesn't differentiate ext4.
What's more, it doesn't differentiate ext2 from ext3 either.


Not in my pay level :-P
