Never use BTRFS on an SSD. Even the BTRFS devs don't recommend it.
They use to flat out say don't do it.

Now after 4.14+ they just say its not optimized, and won't trim properly.

guess my box is an anomaly. I have tw with btrfs root on ssd and have for
at least 5+ years.
