[opensuse] Can't mount USB drive
HI,

I'm trying to connect a usb docking station with a drive in ti to a laptop with opensuse 13.1 (doing a backup before upgrading).

The docking station works under Windows 10. On opensuse, It shows up as a usb device, but does not get assigned a /dev entry (like /dev/sdb).

Does anyone know how to persuade the system to give it a device entry so I can mount it??

Here's what dmesg says:

[ 684.182097] usb 4-4: new SuperSpeed USB device number 2 using xhci_hcd
[ 684.193830] usb 4-4: New USB device found, idVendor=174c, idProduct=55aa
