What's a "system database" ? Leap uses mysql/mariadb by default, but
the tests were done with postgres.

It it by default in /var/lib/pgsql on separate Btrfs subvolume.

I have no idea what kind of performance to expect with butterfs, but
it's an interesting question. The article seemed keen to point out
the /home was on XFS, and that tests were run from there.
