I use a computer as a media box connected through HDMI to a FullHD TV.

I need to have a large DPI, 192 x 192, so I can see stuff from 3 meters
away.

I can set it up with xrandr --dpi 192, but I would like to know what's
the SUSE way of doing this properly.

I have similar issues. DPI is automagically calculated from you screen
size, except X for some reason cannot determine that size properly and
uses 96 DPI by default.

It can but it won't.
