On the Toshiba Satellite P850-31M you can't reach the BIOS/UEFI unless
from inside Windows.

appears it is just hard-to-find.

I have recently an acer v5 and a toshiba s55-c5274 which I was able to
boot directly from external usb stick rather than having to access windoz.
