What is this service good for. What does it mean. Why did it start.
Which programm, server or whatever will start it. Thank you for
educating me. It annoys me since years that I do not know what this
"bootpc" is good for.



This is port used by client of BOOTP or DHCP protocols for interface
autoconfiguration.
