Hi
Don't think so... The tools are all path of bluez5, no need to
install the others...

journalctl --no-tail |grep bluetooth

On the other email.

Try checking with rfkill list, not soft blocked?

minas-tirith:~ # rfkill list
1: hp-wifi: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
2: phy0: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
3: hci0: Bluetooth
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
minas-tirith:~ #

I don't know how to interpret that.

Hi
I would have to assume it's recognized, so is hci0 up?

hciconfig hci0

If not;

hciconfig hci0 up
hcitool dev
