To circumvent this problem try the following command (with Linux and

Your error point towards

and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=235272 (which is a dup of the first
one already)




Doing that export, or the dbus-launch command had no effect on my system (but
then I wasn't seeing the crash either).
Kate still slow, and generating massive amount of net traffic with any mouse
movement.
