Because apper can only show things it knows about. And the zypp developers at
openSUSE did not bother to implement the functionality of telling packagekit
anything about the progress of the download. The download is done by the zypp-
backend, apper is just a frontend.


Ah, ok, 'just' a frontend...
I thought what people see should look good...
Personally i do not really like not to know what is going on...
So i guess just use zypper or yast than for the job...
