[opensuse] Pulse audio volume unstable
Right

OS 11.3 x86_64 KDE 4.6.5 release 7 Audio is an external USB audio box a
UB-003 using a C-Media Cm6270 chip

I had to switch to pulseaudio to get audio working alsa did not like the USB
audio combined with the HDMI audio on the video card and whinged when i
disable it

I had the sound working great yesterday had to shut the PC down now i have
audio but it is only about 25% of what it was i have been thru almost
everything
i can find to get it stable .

If i use pulseaudio manager to set it levels as soonb as i adjust the volume
again it reverts to the quite settings how do i get this to Stay where i set
it

I have tried 11.4 not long ago still no go the same for 21.1 definate no go
there cant afford to risk the email and contacts side of the system it is
totally essential those are fully working all the time

Pete .
