12.1, with nfsserver and nfs setup using Yast.

1. Server. nfsserver doesn't start.

To get the nfsserver starting at boot automatically you have to manually insert rpcbind first. On 11.4 just running insserv nfsserver did the trick, with systemd on 12.1 this does not work. You'll need to run

# insserv rpcbind
# insserv nfsserver

or the new way

# systemctl enable rpcbind.service
# systemctl enable nfsserver.service

However, since both services do not yet have unit files the systemctl calls just revert to chkconfig anyway.

I think this is to do
with:https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=732395

It may only be my setup that is encountering startup problems, so do you
think it would be ok to add this issue to that bugzilla?

2. Client: nfs doesn't mount from fstab:

There's a big discussion on the list going on about this topic "Systemd and fstab", you might want to read that ;)

Add comment==systemd.automount to fstab.

HTH,
Robert
