That's not true. Because if you use video players. Such as Totem, they
do a system check. If win32 Codecs aren't their it will flag a
warning. With the 1-Click you don't have to worry because them and
everything you need to play media. VLC is another one that will warn
you if you don't have that package installed.

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD, an app you want
to package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. Give SUSE
Studio a try.
