Maybe you would like to try 'cfdisk /dev/sdb' .
It is a bit more comfortable the fdisk.

Just curious, are you recommending cfdisk over fdisk for all drives,

It does the same as fdisk, so yes I you would use cfdisk for any hard disk
drive and USB stick. I'm not sure about other types of memory cards.

The ncurses interface. It is easier to use when you see options, what you can
do, listed on the screen, than when you have to print them out.
