I can access local network forums, smb shares, ftps,
but internet I get trough vpn connection and I can't connect
any internet page, ftp, nothing.
I'm not sure that it is anyway concerned with ping :)

Well if all other connections work, why worry about ping?

Ping can be be blocked on either end, so perhaps the windows
machines have microsoft firewall blocking ping, or zone alarm or
something.
I windows on same box it works.

Or perhaps you didn't shut down the firewall completely.
There is configurations options in the suse firewall settings in
yast to allow ping.
Can you write a bit more details here?

But, like I say, if its working, for all your real needs, that
means its not broke, so don't fix it.
