Hi Tore,

my /boot/grub/menu.lst entry reads...

title openSUSE 10.2 - Serielle Konsole
root (hd0,1)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18.2-34-default root=/dev/sda2 vga=0x31a \
resume=/dev/sda1 splash=silent showopts \
console=ttyS0,38400n8r console=tty1
initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.18.2-34-default

This should be correct, I think, and the other usual stuff (kernel oops etc.)
gets written to the serial console.
But the SysRq-Body lines are missing.

But I did not "kdb=on", just added that. Will see whether this helps!

Thanks,
Winfried
