Ok, crtl-alt-F10 reveal that the option kernel param "agplock" (agplock=0)
throws an error. I commented out that line and re-init (from login screen
with crtl-alt-backspace) and I rechecked output in crtl-alt-F10 and it
doesn't complain about the error for agplock and new entries reveal
it "found" the agp bus and sets to x8 (2 enteries for both outputs), as well
as mem stats. However, 2 entries in the Xorg.0.log:

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep 2:0

How do I turn off AIGLX, can I just remove the package containing it (rpm -e
whatever, or via YaST2)? Perhaps and Option entry along the lines
of "AIGLX" "disable"?

TIA again! Curtis :)

P.S. If your forwarding these to Heir Graeber und Heir skj01 it's getting
bounced back to me as a Mail delivery failure. Ver Dunck!
