Hi all,
Can we vnc into the user's screen (screen 0) using gnome?

I tried to apply the configuration from Fedora:
1. Edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Add these lines:
Section "Module"
..........
..........
Load "vnc"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
...........
...........
Option "passwordFile" "/root/.vnc/passwd"
..........
EndSection

2. Generate the vnc password as root.
3. Log into the system using vnc: ipaddress:0

Well, it doesn't work. So, then I use Yast to allow remote administration, it
works, but only on screen 1.
Can we do it on screen 0?

In /var/log/xorg.log I see this:
(II) I810(0) : VNC disabled

Thanks.

Hi Fajar,
I'd suggest that you try and use package "vino". It is used by default
in the latest Ubuntu release for instance.

Please, have a look at the following article for a description:

Thanks,
