Hi,

I am pretty new to linux. So please treat me as pretty novice, please
forgive me about that.

I have installed SuSE 10.1 on Intel D915GUX mother board with Pentuim4 EM64T
processor. My monitor is Samtron 15inch model 56V.

The X11 graphics is broken whenever I try to have a resolution higher than
800x600. I tried with different configuration but none did help.

I have the xorg.conf.install file as follows:

I tried to find SAMTRON 56V driver from net but could not find one. SaX2 is
showing "--> VESA" as monitor (selecting SAMTRON 56V) is breaking.

My monitor spec is as follows:

-------------- start paste --------------------------

*15"(13.8" Viewable)
*0.24mm(H) Dot Pitch
*1024x768@68 Maximum Resolution
*Plug & Play
*Mac & PC Compatibility

The SAMTRON 56V is the ideal monitor for office and home users. Its large
screen offers full clear visibility. The perfect flicker-free display
eliminates eye strain. It has a horizontal frequency of 30~55kHz and 1024 X
768 maximum resolution. In addition, the perfected Plug & Play supports DDC
and new USB (optional).
The compact design of SAMTRON 56V offers you the freedom to fully utilize
your space without compromising clarity, safety and performance.
The SAMTRON 56V is perfectly compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows ME and
can be connected directly to Macintosh. It satisfies the standard of energy
2000 by adopting an epochal power technology that makes 3W power consumption
in minimum in standing by state.

-------------- end paste --------------------------

I laid my cards before you guys, please somebody help me out.

Thanks in advance,
