resiserfs ?

That is, does the disk on which .X11-unix resides conatin a reiserfs ?

fsck /dev/hdaX where X is the number of your partition (or just try them
fdisk -l /dev/hda to list them, then fsck /dev/hda1, fsck /dev/hda2 &c &c)
